Work on projects across Stripe's stack that directly impact how millions of businesses operate. Interns own problems end-to-end with manager support - recent projects include expanding fraud detection capabilities, building fraud controls, and developing user-facing solutions for merchant checkout. Full team members participating in technical design discussions, code reviews, and cross-team collaboration.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, math, or related field. Programming experience through coursework or projects (Ruby, Java, JavaScript, Go, Scala). Prior internship or multi-person project experience. Ability to learn unfamiliar systems independently. Preferred: at least one year of university education, specialized frontend/backend/infrastructure knowledge, experience writing high-quality pull requests with good test coverage.
